The Trafford Center has confirmed its opening and closing times for Monday 19 September 2022.

The Trafford Center will be opening later than usual on the day of the Queen’s funeral, it has been confirmed.
Monday 19 September has been declared a bank holiday to allow people time off to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II and pay their respects.
The funeral starts at 11am from Westminster Abbey and will be screened live on BBC, ITV and Sky.
With supermarkets already confirming whether they will be open or closed, we’ll take a look at the Trafford Center’s plans.

The center has confirmed it will open at 4pm and close at 10pm on Monday.
This is shorter than its typical bank holiday opening hours, with the center not opening til after the Queen’s funeral.
However if you are traveling specially for an individual store or restaurant, then you are advised to check with them in advance as some may observe different opening hours, or not open at all – John Lewis has already stated its stores outside of London will remain closed , for example.

The Trafford Center said: “We are deeply saddened at the news of the Queen’s passing and our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the Royal Family at this time.
“On Monday 19 September, Trafford Center will close in acknowledgment of Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral and to allow staff the time and space to mark the occasion and pay their respects. The center will re-open at 4pm, with a minimal number of brands trading. We would kindly advise all visitors to check individual retailer websites and social channels for their opening hours, as the majority of the centre’s retailers are closing until the following day. Normal Trafford Center opening hours will resume on Tuesday 20 September.”
