Get ready for the UEFA Women’s EURO tournament with a football roadshow

The finest female footballers in Europe are battling it out for European silverware in England this summer – and the roadshow to get fans in the mood for the tournament is coming to the Trafford Centre.

The event will be at the hub on 30 May, 31 May and 1 June with activities covering football, fitness and music.

The Lionesses celebrate their second of five goals against Northern Ireland

Organizers are hoping to inspire more communities and people to take an interest in women’s football during the build-up to the competition.

The roadshow will be traveling 800 miles, making 10 stops across 43 days, before ending in London at the start of July just a few days before England’s Lionesses walk out at a packed Old Trafford for the opening match against Austria.

Tickle the ivories thanks to the Manchester Jazz Festival

Manchester Jazz Festival and Forsyth’s music shop are on the hunt for Manchester’s most entertaining street pianist with a trail of 13 instruments placed across the city, including one at the Trafford Centre.

Passers-by can show off their musical skills on the piano until 29 May.

There are a whole raft of prizes up for grabs, including a Yamaha P-45B piano, return tickets for four people anywhere on the Northern rail network, a gift package, vouchers worth over £100 from Quayside Media City UK and a £30 Wagamama voucher for each prize winner.

To take part you just have to find the piano, capture a short video of your performance and post the video to your Instagram, Facebook or Twitter account, tagging in @manchesterjazzfestival or @manjazzfest and using the hashtag #mjfpianotrail

Enjoy a night out at the Lady Boys of Bangkok

The Lady Boys of Bangkok are back in Manchester and the Trafford Center is putting on the show in style.

West End theater will meet Hollywood glamor for the show in the purpose-built pink Sabai theater tent with foyer seating for over 400 guests at tables of up to eight people.

There will be two-fully stocked bars and authentic Thai street food being served.

Featuring a cast of 16 Thai men, this fast-moving production is full of laughs and heaps of sequin-spangled sassiness while featuring lots of party and floor-filling hits sung live in the 90-minute show.

The show will run from 24 June to 3 July.

Test the gray matter in a mind-bending escape room puzzle

If you fancy pitting your wits against a serious of devious and devilish puzzles, then Adrenaline Escape Room is for you.

You and your team will be locked in an immersive escape room and will have to find clues, crack codes and solve puzzles to progress through the game.

Teams have just 60 minutes to uncover the room’s secrets and make their escape, with the quickest times being ranked on the leaderboard.

The attraction is open until 13 June and tickets can be booked here.
