Up to £ 2,000 in new funding will be given to community groups to support their projects.
Trafford Council has launched a community inclusion project program to “bring residents together to celebrate their communities and where they live”.
The Inclusive Neighborhoods Grants program is now open to applications and offers grants of up to £ 2,000 for projects and £ 500 for events.
The scholarships have been running for several years.
Cllr Graham Whitham, Trafford Council Executive for Congregation, said: “We want residents to be proud of where they live and to be active in their community.
“Inclusive Neighborhood grants help local people host an event or project that brings people together, fosters community cohesion, is run by residents, enhances a local good like a park, or shows the strengths of the community.
“We were delighted that so many groups were able to use our grants last year to enable so many community projects in our district.
“Having thriving communities where people come together is a top priority in Trafford, so I would encourage any community group or organization hoping to host a project or event to apply and take pride in our wonderful Strengthen Trafford communities. ”
The Inclusive Neighborhoods Grants are open to community groups and organizations.
The first round of applications for the program ends on July 31; the second round on October 31st and the third round on January 31st, 2022.

Last year more than 100 applications were received and 66 groups received funding for their project.
Grants supported several groups during the pandemic, including Barakah Food Aid, which helped vulnerable people access food, and Home-Start Trafford, which provided emergency relief to more than 70 Trafford families.
You can email Neighborhoodgrants@trafford.gov.uk to book your place for a virtual meeting on July 14th from 4pm to 5pm for more information about the program and how to apply.
The Inclusive Neighborhood Grants program will run alongside the Trafford Crisis Fund Wellbeing Grants Program, which allows community and volunteer organizations to apply for up to £ 5,000.
This grant program funds projects that enable vulnerable and disadvantaged residents to live independently and enable residents to improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
