A powerful mural has appeared in Old Trafford showing Marcus Rashford kicking the door to No10 Downing Street.
The 3D artwork appears to reference the Manchester United striker’s inspirational free school lunch campaign last year.
The 23-year-old’s efforts forced Prime Minister Boris Johnson to do a U-turn, which meant children had access to free school meals during the summer vacation.
The mural shows Rashford in a complete England set with a number of school children holding empty plates.
The work of art initially appeared with a door lying flat in front of the mural, as if Rashford had just kicked in the door to # 10.
However, the door was removed on Monday.
Rashford, who grew up in Wythenshawe, has been at the forefront of campaigns aimed at stopping child hunger.
More than a million children were able to claim food vouchers after he urged the government to reverse their plans to end the summer free school lunch program.

In previous interviews, Rashford has spoken of his mother going to bed crying while trying to provide food for her family.
Rashford has also partnered with the charity FareShare to distribute millions of free meals to the hungry.
The English striker’s charitable work was awarded an MBE at the Queen’s Birthday Honors in October.
That same month, the Old Trafford icon launched a parliamentary petition to encourage the government to provide food throughout all holidays and free school meals to all families and households with universal credit.
