Authentic Greek restaurant brand The Real Greek has chosen Trafford Center as a key location for its expansion into the north of England, due to open in February 2021. With a 4,700 square foot unit in the center’s food court, The Real Greek will add its authentic Greek and Eastern Mediterranean menu to the existing 39 restaurants on offer, adding even more variety to the center’s food court.

Founded in London in 1999, The Real Greek has quickly established itself in the capital’s F&B market with its modern Greek cuisine and laid-back restaurants. The brand was launched in the capital with a proven, successful model before expanding further in the south of England, currently running food culture in a total of 21 restaurants as well as “Greek on the Street”, a souvlaki shop inspired by the Greek street. The real Greek is now ready for his foray north.

With its relaxed Mediterranean decor and great value, The Real Greek Menu has something for everyone from meat eaters to pescatarians, vegetarians to vegans, and features traditional and modern Greek meze, grilled meats, and souvlaki wraps Salads.

Nabil Mankarious, Managing Director of The Real Greek commented, “The past few years have been amazing and we have been delighted with the way people have embraced The Real Greek and all that it represents. We’re excited to bring the brand to the North of England and the Trafford Center is an obvious choice for one of our first restaurants in the North. Manchester has a huge foodie scene and it is only right that The Real Greek be a part of it at the largest retail and leisure destination in the region. ”

Rhys Evans, Director of Asset Management at the Trafford Center, commented: “The Real Greek is an important addition to the Trafford Center’s food and beverage offering. It’s an exciting and unique brand, so we’re proud to support this restaurant brand as it expands into the Nordic food scene. The restaurant and its authentic Greek flavors offer something very fresh for the center and we have no doubt that it will prove to be a popular addition. ”
