For those who missed it, it was National Burger Day last week.
As one of the most popular dishes in Great Britain, the burger comes in a variety of forms, whether beef, chicken, veggie or vegan.
But as the number of places that offer a burger keeps growing, you often need to know where to buy one.
To make life easier, The Messenger searched TripAdvisor for the top restaurants for a burger in the entire borough.
If the result is disappointing for independent companies, Las Iguanas at the Trafford Center tops the list.
In fact, this branch of the Latin American chain is the top restaurant in all of Trafford according to TripAdvisor.
It has an impressive 4.5 out of 5 rating from over 1400 reviews.
One customer said: “My burger was fantastic and the cocktails were top notch.”
Next on the list is the Bus Stop Cafe in Urmston with a rating of 5 out of 5.
It’s lower than Las Iguanas as its rating is based on fewer reviews.
But the burger selection is extensive and ranges from a “Classic Cheese Burger” to a “Sticky Korean Chicken Burger”.
“I called ahead to order a skin-on-fries chicken burger to celebrate my first day at a new job. Wow what a great choice,” said one customer.
Third is Bramley Farm, a pub on Sinderland Road in Altrincham.
With a menu that features not just one but eight burgers, including a plant-based option, customers will have a hard time choosing between them.
One customer said: “We ordered the ‘Bombay Bird Burger’, nice presentation and huge portion.”
Fourth and fifth are another pub in Altrincham, The Ax and Cleaver and Chez Nous Bistro in Sale.
They don’t offer the same selection as the four or two burgers Bramley Farm, but customers don’t mind.
A customer from The Ax and Cleaver said, “The food was very good. I had the plant burger which was great with the halloumi in it.”
Meanwhile, a customer in the Chez Nous Bistro said: “My double burger was particularly good!”
