There are still a few weeks left over the summer vacation and plenty of Trafford attractions to fill them up.

TripAdvisor allows visitors to rate these attractions and comment on their experiences with them.

And if these ratings and comments are to be believed, there is no shortage of activities in the district.

At the top of the list is the Trafford Center with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from around 3,200 reviews.

Its range of dining, drinking, shopping and other activities appeals to visitors to the Trafford area.

One visitor said, “We don’t think there is a better place to shop.

“The center has a huge range of shops – something for everyone.”

Next on the list is Dunham Massey, also with a rating of 4.5.

Around 2,300 visitors rated the hall and gardens of the National Trust, almost all of them positive.

“This place is a must,” said one visitor.

The Imperial War Museum on the Trafford side of The Quays completes the top 3 with a further rating of 4.5.

Visitors love the opportunity to get up close and personal with the museum’s exhibitions from World War I to the present day.

One visitor said, “A very well presented museum with lots of information.

“The staff was friendly and competent.”

The top 10 also include Altrincham Market, Sea Life Aquarium, and Legoland Discovery Center, the last two of which are part of the Trafford Center.

Then there’s Emirates Old Trafford, which has been the center of attention for the past few weeks as the home of The Hundred’s Manchester Originals.

It also doubles as a music arena where The Courteeners and special guests will play at the stadium on September 25th.

Finally, three of Trafford’s favorite parks round out the top 10.

These are Longford Park in Stretford, Walkden Gardens in Sale and Denzell Gardens in Bowdon.

The Denzell Gardens home has an interesting history including a visit from Winston Churchill.

And if it’s good enough for him …
