Rangnick faces a major crisis at Old Trafford (Image: Getty)
Ralf Rangnick faces a growing crisis at Manchester United as 11 players now want to leave the club.
The German was called in to temporarily stabilize the ship after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s departure in November.
United lost their first game under Rangnick on Monday night when the Wolves took a 1-0 win at Old Trafford after a bland performance by the home side.
And behind the scenes, serious problems have developed with the formation of a number of cliques in the locker room among the manager’s problems.
A number of players within the squad have been overwhelmed by Rangnick’s coaching, unimpressed with his tactics and disappointed with the quality of the team he has put together since arriving in Manchester, reports The Mirror.

Up to 11 players want to leave now as they are even more disillusioned with Old Trafford life.
Players who previously felt marginalized under Solskjaer have remained on the sidelines under Rangnick – a situation that divides the United dressing room.
A source told the newspaper, “It’s not good. The atmosphere is really bad and it looks like United are going to have big problems. ‘
Jesse Lingard, Donny van de Beek, Eric Bailly and Dean Henderson are among the players who, under Rangnick, have become increasingly frustrated about their lack of chances.

The only starts of Lingard and van de Beek under the German came in the dead rubber Champions League duel against the Young Boys. The Dutchman has played a total of six minutes of league football under the new coach, although Lingard has not been used at all so far.
With Henderson and Bailly thinking about their future too, the discomfort in the locker room is said to have a significant impact on team harmony.
After losing 1-0 to Wolves on Monday, Luke Shaw made telling comments about the club’s morale, suggesting that there are serious problems within the group right now.
“Us players, we’ve been here a long time, we’ve played at home, we know what it’s like when we have the intensity, you can feel the motivation,” Shaw told Sky Sports.
“But I think we had a hard time tonight. Not us – or I didn’t have the feeling that we were all together on the pitch.
“We felt like we were fighting. It was difficult.’
