Manchester United co-chair Joel Glazer has promised to continue helping Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the transfer market this summer.
Speaking to supporters at a fans’ forum meeting Friday, Glazer also promised “substantial” investments in facilities at Old Trafford as well as the club’s training ground in Carrington.
The United co-chair made his first appearance at a fan forum in the 16 years his family owned the club after vowing to improve communications following proposals from the European Super League (ESL).
Glazer was quoted in the ESL launch press release, which met widespread condemnation and angry protests from United fans in England.
During the discussions with the fans, he put forward new suggestions for improving the dialogue with the fans, but also discussed the club’s work on the transfer market and improvements to the infrastructure.

“Our goal is to win every competition we enter and we will continue to invest in our academy and transfer market to help the coach achieve the club’s goals,” Glazer said at the meeting .
