All lanes reopened on M60 following 'serious' crash near Trafford centre

All lanes have reopened on the M60 close to the Trafford Center following a ‘serious’ collision. The incident happened on the M60 clockwise between Junction 10 (Trafford Centre) and J11 (Eccles) at around 4.30pm.

Police have confirmed the collision was ‘serious’ and added that it involved a male, with inquiries ongoing at the scene. The nature of the injuries are not yet known but the North West Ambulance Service have been approached for information.

In an update on Tuesday evening, at 5pm, Highways North West announced all traffic traveling on the clockwise carriageway had been stopped following the smash. Paramedics and other emergency services are on the scene.

All lanes have since reopened.
