Adam Webster is about to take a major international break – away from the limelight.

He would like to be available for two weeks on Sunday to resume action at Manchester United.

Albion boss Graham Potter said: “We are hopeful. He’s just running, not yet with the ball, so he still has a little ahead of him.

“I think the nature of his injury means you’re going to get a bit of a plateau and he’s probably there right now, so we just have to keep working on him.

“We are confident after the international break, but not yet on the timescale.”

Potter has to decide if he wants to stay with three opponents against Newcastle.

He should be looking for Blyth-born defender Dan Burn (thigh).
