M.Anchester Credit Union has opened a new branch on Stretford Mall to provide ethical loans and savings to new and existing Trafford members.
The office was officially opened by Trafford Council Chairman, Councilor Andrew Western, with Christine Moore, Chief Executive of Manchester Credit Union, and Chairman Peter Mitchell.
Christine said, “We are very excited to finally open our new store in Stretford Mall. The opening has been delayed due to Covid, but we are very much looking forward to welcoming new and existing members to the branch. “
The credit union, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, offers savings and loans to more than 30,000 people who live and work in the Greater Manchester area.
It also offers a free wage deduction service, BEESMART, for local employers who want to support the financial well-being of their employees.
Trafford Council Chairman, Councilor Andrew Western, said: “I am delighted that this facility has opened in Stretford.

The new branch is located in Unit 51 on the first floor of Stretford Mall and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
