Casemiro, who has played 63 times for Brazil, becomes the latest signing during this transfer window, joining Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez, as Erik ten Hag continues to strengthen his first-team squad.
The midfielder has signed a contract until June 2026, with the option to extend for a further year, subject to UK visa requirements, and is expected to join up with the squad to begin training this week.
The South American has played over 550 professional games and has captained his country. He has won 22 major honors in his illustrious career, including five Champions League titles and the Copa America.
