Asian Media Awards 2021 at Emirates Old Trafford

Emirates Old Trafford is hosting the ninth Asian Media Awards, the first live ceremony in two years.

The ceremony will return to Manchester on Friday October 29th.

This year marks the first time the Emirates Old Trafford conference and venue venue has hosted the industry-leading awards ceremony, which highlights the talent, drive and innovation of professionals who excel in the UK-Asian and mainstream media.

Arif Asif, Event Manager at the Asian Media Awards, said: “We are proud to host our ceremony at Emirates Old Trafford in 2021.

“It is a very popular location for top-class events in Manchester.

“We are confident that the Emirates Old Trafford team will support us in making our first live ceremony since 2019 an unforgettable experience.”

The Asian Media Awards attract some of the leading personalities from the world of television, radio and journalism.

Liz Cooper, Partnerships Director at Lancashire Cricket, commented on the event: “The Asian Media Awards have established themselves as one of the most prestigious and well supported media ceremonies in the UK and we are honored that the organizers have placed their trust in Emirates Old Trafford to host of this year’s event.

The 2020 ceremony was held digitally with a select number of categories honoring. The winners of the 2020 award ceremony will be invited to the 2021 award ceremony.

Launched in 2013, the Asian Media Award is now in its ninth year and continues to highlight the pioneering work of reporters and producers in reporting on issues of race and human rights.

The official shortlist announcement will take place on Monday, September 20th.
