Old Trafford is the east stand of Old Trafford Football Stadium and the largest stadium of Manchester United Football Club.

Manchester United owners, the Glazers family, completed £ 11million renovations at Old Trafford and the club’s training ground this summer following a historic fan forum last week.

Joel Glazer, the club’s co-chair, spent nearly three hours speaking to fans at a forum. Americans hope it will usher in a new era of dialogue between the family and the club’s fans.

The Americans have been silent since they took over the Red Devils in 2005 and saturated the club with debt.

However, Joel agreed to speak to fans after apologizing for the club’s involvement in the formation of a new European Super League, which was abandoned within 48 hours after widespread protests.

Speaking to fans, Glazer insisted that the family would like to keep the club’s facilities in order to keep Old Trafford and the Carrington training ground at “world-class” levels.

The Theater of Dreams hasn’t seen a capacity increase at the club since the Glazers’ first summer, and those plans were signed before the American takeover.

The stadium has been in dire need of renovation in recent years, with United suffering a number of embarrassing episodes as the roof leaked during games.

But the Daily Mail says the Glazers have now agreed to spend £ 11 million on the stadium and training ground, and vows to install new floodlights in both venues.

Work is also to be carried out on the home and away changing rooms, while “covid-safe” ticketing systems and 1,500 barrier seats are to be installed as part of an ongoing project to increase the safe standing room capacity of the stadium.

At the forum, Joel Glazer said renovations were a priority.

“Old Trafford is the heart of Manchester United and while we have spent over £ 100m on infrastructure projects in the last 10 years, we are now going to accelerate the planning process for much bigger investments and stadium refurbishments,” said Glazer.

“Rest assured, we will consult with our supporters throughout the process to achieve a result that we can all be proud of.”
