Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain Chopstix will be opening a Pan-Asian noodle bar at the Trafford Center this month to further bolster the center’s current menu before the easing.

The Chopstix brand, which has more than 60 stores across the country, opens this month with a term of 10 years on the 750-square-meter site next to Burger King.

The launch is part of the brand’s broader nationwide expansion, which saw five stores opened last year alone.

The founding partners of Chopstix, Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, opened their first restaurant more than 20 years ago, which was born out of a passion for food and offers high-quality, inexpensive Pan-Asian dishes for on the go.

Together with other restaurants in the Orient – one of the largest food courts in Europe – the outlet will offer deliveries and click-and-collect services until normal service can be resumed, probably in mid-May.

Due to the brand’s confident approach to expansion over the past few years, it has established itself as one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing Asian QSR brands.

Nick Williams, Senior Director-CBRE, Asset Manager of the Trafford Center, said, “Chopstix, joining the mix of restaurants in the center in The Orient, will be a really exciting addition to spice up our offering this year.

“As one of the UK’s most popular retail and leisure destinations, the Trafford Center has further enhanced our vibrant mix of restaurants available to our customers. Other new launches, including Archies and Slim Chickens, also reflect consumer demands and provide opportunities for brands to reach a wider audience. “

He added, “In the Retail and F&B (Food and Beverage) categories, we’ve seen some excellent additions to the center’s range of products over the past year, from both large and small brands. We look forward to being fully open again and welcoming our customers back to the Trafford Center so they can see the new openings for themselves. “

Jon Lake, CEO of Chopstix, said, “This is a really exciting opening for us. We have always dreamed of having a business in the Trafford Center and it is just amazing to see it.

“Lockdown has been difficult for all of us, but we hope that new and old customers can click their sticks and enjoy our quick and tasty menu.”
