A stunning mural of Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford kicking the door to # 10 appeared overnight on a canal near Old Trafford.

The banksy-esque artwork references Rashford’s inspirational free school lunch campaign that forced Prime Minister Boris Johnson to turn around last year.

Selfless Rashford is pictured next to a row of school children holding empty plates. The 23-year-old wears all English equipment.

The powerful mural is accompanied by a number 10 black door that represents the gateway to Mr. Johnson’s residence on Downing Street.

The Prime Minister agreed to offer free school meals for children during the summer vacation last June.

One change in policy resulted from Rashford’s relentless social media campaign to help children living in poverty.

Rashford has also partnered with the charity FareShare to deliver millions of free meals to the hungry.

The English striker’s charitable work was awarded an MBE at the Queen’s Birthday Honors in October.

That same month, the Old Trafford icon launched a parliamentary petition to encourage the government to provide food throughout all holidays and free school meals to all families and households with universal credit.

Rashford honorably asked politicians to put party politics aside “in order to find a long-term and sustainable solution to child food poverty in Britain”.

It’s not the first time Rashford has been the focus of a mural after street artist Aske also paid tribute to his charity work last November.

The latest work of art was found on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal in Manchester.

And it seems to have been produced by ‘The Rebel Bear’ who left their name next to the work.

Fans on social media got excited about the work and said, “This is great!”
